The D.O.G Shop offers FREE SHIPPING Australia Wide* on all orders over $100. Order total refers to the product cost total of the order, shipping is a separate additional cost, therefore the product order total must be $100 or more to qualify for free shipping. On orders up to $100 we charge a Flat Rate of $7.95 Australia Wide*. The FREE SHIPPING and Flat Rate Shipping options Australia-Wide cover approximately 95%* of all products available online and is capped at 100kg per order.

*Exclusions include bulky items such as but not limited to; furnishings, homewares, ornaments and doorstops. Excluded products will be charged a “Bulky Item Shipping” Fee in addition to the free and flat rate shipping options. The Bulky Shipping Fee is heavily subsidized to keep costs as low as possible, Postage costs can be checked and reviewed by using the “Calculate Shipping” option in the shopping cart. If your order exceeds 100Kg in total, this will also be excluded from the free and flat rate shipping option.

All costs are in AUD. All orders to New Zealand are charged at a flat rate of $10 AUD per order.

General Information

1.1 The Customer must ensure that correct delivery details are provided as parcels which are returned to The D.O.G Shop as deliverable will incur a re-dispatch fee. Freight charges paid for the original dispatch are not refundable.

1.2 Depending on the nature of the Goods ordered, The D.O.G Shop will arrange for delivery of the Goods by Australia Post or a courier. The D.O.G Shop will use its best endeavours to deliver the Goods to the Customer’s nominated delivery address within the time period specified at the time of placing the Order, however The D.O.G Shop will not be liable to the Customer or anyone else for any losses suffered or incurred due to delay.

1.3 If the Goods are delivered by courier or, the Customer’s parcel will be delivered during normal business hours. Upon delivery, the Goods must be signed for if specified by the customer in the checkout process . If a signature cannot be obtained at the time of delivery, a card will be left informing the Customer of how to collect the Customer’s parcel during normal business hours. Parcels will be held by the delivery service for their maximum hold time. Should the Customer not respond to a calling card and the parcel is returned to The D.O.G Shop as unclaimed, further freight charges will be payable for re-dispatch. Freight charges paid for the original dispatch are not refundable.

1.4 Once the Goods have arrived in the The D.O.G Shops warehouse if required to order in, it could take another 1 to 3 days for processing and dispatch. Once the Order has shipped, the Customer will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number.

1.5 For deliveries within Australia, the Customer should allow for standard Australia Post delivery times. The estimated delivery date depends on where the Customer lives, and is calculated from the time the Customer receives the “Order Dispatched” email and not from the time the Order was placed.

1.6 The Customer should allow for a further 2 days (in addition to the above) for delivery to regional areas.

1.7 Delivery can range from next day delivery to 14 days depending on the nature of the order. Special order items can take up to 3 weeks for delivery. In unusual circumstances, delivery may take longer.  The delivery dates are estimates only. The D.O.G Shop will do all that it can to ensure delivery within the estimated dates, but factors such as public holidays and peak delivery times may not allow this to always be possible. Regular status updates will be sent to the customer.

1.9 The D.O.G Shop reserves the right not to accept an Order, or having accepted an Order, to cancel an Order if it cannot supply the Goods or for any other reason The D.O.G Shop deem fit.

1.10 Should a delivery be “Returned To Sender” due to incorrect delivery address information provided by the buyer, or a failure to collect delivery from the designated Local Post Office or Courier Outlet due to a missed delivery card being left at delivery address, a “Return To Sender” restocking fee of $10 is chargeable.

Multiple Item Orders

2.1 Subject to the terms of any Order, The D.O.G Shop will only ship Orders when all items on the Order are available for dispatch. The Customer may be asked if The D.O.G Shop can deliver part only of an Order in which case The D.O.G Shop may do so.

2.2 Where there has been a significant delay in supplying outstanding items, The D.O.G Shop may split Orders and dispatch available items at no extra cost.

Damaged Deliveries

3.1 Subject to The D.O.G Shop’s return policy, The D.O.G Shop will take all reasonable care to appropriately pack all Orders, but will not be liable or responsible for any damaged Goods or missing Orders.

Risk & Title in the Goods

4.1 Subject to payment, property and risk in the Goods passes to the Customer upon delivery of the Goods to the Customer’s nominated delivery address. Anyone at the Customer’s nominated delivery address who receives the Goods shall be presumed by The D.O.G Shop to be authorised to receive the Goods.
